Post-apocalyptic blood-red skies, anyone?

It was rather odd when, Tuesday last, I was innocently taking screengrabs of Los Angeles enveloped by a reddish-orange haze, only to lose electricity and then wake up to Los Angeles enveloped by a reddish-orange haze. Presicent, perhaps, was my compiling for you post-apocalyptic Bunker Hill location images from 1984’s Night of the Comet.

Though you’re probably disheartened and utterly done seeing images of Los Angeles’s crimson-and-carrot colored sky, please check out my post if you feel so inclined. You can’t say it’s not topical.

And remember, if there’s one thing Night of the Comet has taught us, it’s that plucky young folk will rebuild Los Angeles after the apocalypse. We did it in 1984 after earth passed through the tail of a comet, and we’ll do it again!
