Greetings! So, when it comes to Bunker Hill “then & now” comparison photography, it’s often “hey look this tree-shaded Victorian is now a vast concrete office tower forecourt” (e.g., this comparison from Gernot Kuehn’s Views of Los Angeles) which just lacks…nuance.
Don’t get me wrong, such a jarring juxtaposition is certainly instructive, but I think it more fun to compare n’ contrast the modern with the slightly more recent modern.
