Kay Martin loved two things—painting, and Bunker Hill. Many well-known and beloved artists (Ben Abril, Emil Kosa Jr., et al.) depicted Bunker Hill to our collective wonder and delight. As did Kay.
But what of Katherine “Kay” Martin, whose mid-1950s Bunker Hill paintings garnered such interest and attention? They are presently ensconced deep in a Vernon warehouse, to see the light again…someday. Perhaps someday.
